Chosen Pathways
This image was taken whilst on a school excursion. The way the road rock forms ran in different directions, caught my eye and automatically I thought of the way I began to see the image. I began to see the image as a 'Chosen Pathway' - meaning that life takes us in different directions. And that is the beauty of life !
MT Lindsay
This image was taken for a school assignment in Photography. The assignment task was to capture a combination of images and collaborate them together and then creating some kind of fantasy theme. This image is of a mountain-rock form of Mt Lindsay. This rock form lies on the Queensland-New South Wales border and is approximately 140 km south west of Brisbane. For the assignment, I knew exactly what I wanted to capture and this was it. Mt Lindsay is an important cultural landmark to the Aboriginal people who are from that area and I happen to be one of those people. This image shows of pure passion and pride from an artists point of view.
A Promise
Through the bible, a Rainbow symbolises God's promise to mankind. The promise was to never flood the earth again. Personally, I think Rainbows and their profound meaning, are beautiful. I have taken this image to portray the beauty that I see, and not only through sight but also through the spiritual side of things. The combination of grey clouds and the bright colours are a result of this image.
Vined Path
This image was taken whilst on a school excursion. On this excursion, the students were to observe and be informed of an artist's life and his artworks he had created through his life. The artist's name I had forgot, but I do recall that his artworks were of mostly sculptures of naked men and women with horns on their heads. Whilst sightseeing, there was this walkway of stone and vines. It was magnificent and the beauty was all in the way the vines curled around the cubical stoned walls. I knew then and there, I had to capture this beauty.
Rolling On In
This image was taken on a family outing. As I was walking along in conversation, I was just capturing images and did not focus on what I wanted to capture. But as I was looking in the images at the end of the day, this image caught my eye. The way the waves roll on in and the position of the rocks is what I thought mixed well and therefore it had created this image.
Sunset Sky
The beauty of a sunset and sunrise is astounding. This image was taken whilst observing the bats that were passing on by. And even I knew that I had to capture this sunset while I had the chance. It is beautiful !
Incoming Rush Of Deepness
There is such deepness in the ocean. It was cold and windy, but the ocean is never the same when sun's out. The ocean changes in so many ways depending on so many things. Today was the day when the waves began to get rough and the water which became very cold. But all did not stop me from capturing such beauty. Those rocks, the sand and of course the rolling on in waves made that photograph.
Flowing River Of Clouds
This image is of a sunset in my very own backyard. So much colours are within those clouds, so much beauty. The combination of colours create that beauty. The clouds as if they are flowing in one direction and as if the colours are being stirred whilst on that move in the direction. The contrast of the trees is also a part of creating the beauty, for there cannot be no beauty without the help of contrast which help brighten the beauty.
Peaceful Waters
The lake of Wiangree. This lake has much cultural history and with history, beauty. It was becoming night fall when I had captured this image. I prefer this image to be black and white instead of it's colours due to the fact that I see more life in the image then in colour. Through contrast, the reflection really catches the eye. There are some images that are just made to be black and white and some with colour. And this image was made for black and white.
To See And Stare
'To see and stare' is what I have decided to call this photograph. Capturing all life on Earth includes these nosy animals. The reason I imply these animals to be nosy is because they always look and stare whenever in view of their eyesight and that was what I see in this image - nosy Cows.
Blooming Beauty
What is life without including the natural environment? After all, these are the givers of life. Within in this image, there is so much of one colour in different shades, but all in all, the image is still full of beauty.
